An online marketing strategy supports the overall business objectives by leveraging digital channels to communicate with your (potential) customers about your brand, products and services. SWOT Analysis

What: A SWOT analysis is a framework used in strategic business planning to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats the business and market place presents.

Output: We will work with you to get to know more about the intricacies of your business and then combine our insights with the results of the other research and analysis projects.

The findings will be presented in document format with a clear action plan, prioritised into short to long term actions and goals, that we can implement for you or which can be passed on to your team to deliver.

Benefits: The results of this will help lay strong foundations upon which the strategic plan can be built. It helps your business capitalise upon its own strengths and enables a plan to be made to overcome weaknesses and threats. Without it the overall strategic plan will not have the substance required to succeed.

Competitor Audit

What: If we want to be number one it’s important to know what your competitors are doing so we know how to beat them!

We will conduct a review of three to five  competitors to understand their online strategy, looking at what they are doing well and what they are not doing well will identify key opportunities in the marketplace.

Sometimes it can even be beneficial to conduct an audit of businesses that don’t operate in your own industry as many learnings can be made from successful strategies deployed in different business sectors.

Output: The findings of this research will be presented in document format – with a clear action plan that we can implement for you or which can be passed on to your own team for execution.

Benefit: Without a clear and deep level understanding of what your competitors are doing online you will not be able to effectively compete. We like to use a sporting analogy – if you want to play the game you need to know the rules.

Conversion Rate Optimisation

What: Understanding how your potential customers find your website and then what they do when they get there is instrumental in the long-term success of your business and using data from Google Analytics or another reporting tool is the way to retrieve such invaluable insights. We will ensure that your goals are correctly set up so that in depth analysis can be made including assessment of the user journey i.e are customers leaving on certain pages – why? Are customers searching for something you don’t offer? Are they searching for something you do offer but can’t find it…..all of these questions and more will be answered to help increase customer conversion rates.

Output: Goal set up will be done directly into your analytics or reporting system and our own analysis will be presented in document format with evidence to support the recommendations we make. A clear action list will be produced which we can work through with you or handover to your team to implement.

Benefit: Ultimately increase the number of sales / sign-ups  (or whatever your business goal is) Interrogating your Google Analytics  data provides a deep insight into how you can keep visitors engaged on the site, keep them coming back to the site and most importantly ensure they buy your products or services.

Analytics and Reporting

What: Quick and easy access to important business metrics means that you have a clear knowledge of business performance and an understanding of how your customers are interacting with your brand online. We will create a reporting dashboard so that you have these numbers and insights

Output: We will create an online dashboard within the reporting platform you currently use and we will also submit an online performance report detailing our own insights and recommendations based on our wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. The frequency and metrics we report back on will be agreed with you in advance.
