Update – Facebook: An Easy Switch Between Personal and Business Accounts on Messenger
Facebook is making things easier for page managers now to respond to enquiries and queries from the Messenger app with the introduction of a new toggle to switch between personal and business Messenger accounts
As explained by Facebook
”According to our research, over 90% of Facebook business admins already use Messenger to chat with friends and family, and we hear from many that they don’t want to download and manage multiple apps. We also know that small businesses need tools that are reliable and easy to use to help grow their online presence and communicate with customers.”
You can of course already manage your business messages within Facebook Page Manager and Creator Studio apps, but making them more readily accessible, direct from your regular Messenger app, will make the process a lot easier.
The new business inbox has started rolling out in the Messenger app on iOS and will be coming to Android in the next few weeks.
